A Dream for Advantage! 11-17 August

I have been incredibly excited about this week all year. Since filming my 2025 horoscopes, I knew we were in for something special. Many cardinal signs wished for better times and often felt discouraged and disheartened at the difficult aspects we have been faced with in the first quarter of 2025. However, this week allows us to have the upper hand in all matters of our lives.

August 11

First off, Mercury will station direct in Leo on August 11 but will still be in a post-shadow phase, meaning we are not totally out of the woods. A direct movement indicates smoother communication with less bite. Mercury retrograde in Leo has been particularly difficult due to Leo ruling the 5th house of spontaneous love and expression, but also physically, the heart. Everything has been like a knife to the chest even if it seemed like a trivial matter at the time. Combine that with Mars in Virgo conjunct the South Node, and we had a recipe for karmic cord cutting. But now, the planet of communication and productivity is direct, we can speak our bold truths without too much ramification.

On the same day, we have the most fortuitous aspect of the whole year in Venus in Cancer conjunct Jupiter in Cancer meeting up with the fixed star Sirius, providing fated energy, and is often associated with wealth. This is a day to ask for whatever you want, negotiate and feel your luxurious oats!

August 14-17

Now we can get into the powerful aspects for strategy. From August 14-17, Mercury (now direct) in Leo is forming a sextile to Mars in Libra. Mars is considered exiled in Libra because its sister sign Aries is far too rebel without a cause for Libra. Given that energy, maintaining the balance is key. When the planet of communication sextiles a productive and courageous planet like Mars, with the enhancement of Libra’s patient, diplomatic skills, this is a fantastic time to negotiate, ask for favour and be bold in your decisions and requests. Do not shy away or appear meek in battle (or in the boardroom!), but instead walk into the room like you own it, like you are about to make the deal, the project, the relationship infinitely better with your presence.
